Behavioral Health Problems
Behavioral health disorders are when someone has a problem with how they think,
feel or act.
- » People that are overly anxious or nervous.
- » People that are feeling really low, like depression, or feeling
really high.
- » People that hear voices or see things that aren’t there.
- » People that cannot think clearly and are always confused.
- » People that have problems with their temper or that do the same
thing over and over.
Watching Your Health
Getting help for your mental health disorder or addiction will help make a difference
in how you feel. We help you find treatment. We also help you in all areas of your
health care so you feel better.

- » Share information with your doctor about your disorder
- » Find community programs that will help

- » Addiction to illegal or prescription drugs
- » Addiction to alcohol
* Adults and children can have these problems. Many times, people also need help
with both of these. Someone with a mental health disorder might also have an addiction.
Questions about Drug or Alcohol Addiction
If you are worried, there are two lists of questions that you can answer to see
if you or someone you care about might have a drug or alcohol addiction.
For adults (over 18 years-old):
CAGE-AID
asks questions about drug and alcohol use.
For teenagers:
CRAFFT
asks questions about drug and alcohol use.
